1. This program aims to train Christian counselors for churches across Hong Kong using biblical and evidence-based materials.
2. Upon completion, graduates may serve as counselors at the NiceTalk Counseling Center or in churches, providing care and counseling for believers and non-believers dealing with mild emotional issues, marital concerns, and stress.
3. This counseling certificate consists of 8 subjects, plus an internship and supervision component (60 hours).
4. The program lasts for 2 years, with one 4.5-hour training session held on the third Saturday afternoon of each month (21 sessions in total).
5. Target Audience:
a. Believers, pastors, or church leaders who are committed to serving as counselors at the NiceTalk Counseling Center or within their churches.
b. Believers seeking personal growth or the strengthening of their marriage and relationships.
c. Individuals interested in interpersonal relationships, mental health prevention, and therapy (non-believers may audit the course but are not eligible for the internship).
