Restoration Point - Chan Y. L.
"Restoration Point" was founded by clinical psychologist Chan Y. L.
After graduating from the University of Hong Kong, Chan Y. L. joined the Social Welfare Department as a clinical psychologist. His work included providing psychological assessments (such as cognitive assessments) and therapy to individuals from all walks of life, writing court reports, handling child abuse and domestic violence cases, and providing training for the public and professionals. He has extensive experience in treating severe depression and anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), sexual addiction, and children with behavioral problems.
He has shared psychological knowledge on the radio, served as the secretary of the Hong Kong Clinical Psychologists Association, provided clinical supervision to interns pursuing master's degrees in clinical psychology, and co-authored publications with colleagues from the Social Welfare Department, such as "Healing-Oriented Parenting Tips" and "Departure! What is the new home like?".
He is currently in private practice, continuing to specialize in trauma therapy while serving individuals experiencing various psychological distress, and is pursuing a doctoral degree at Regent University in the United States.
